The Board has set up the following priorities for its work 2013 - 2014:

• Information, experiences etc for the transition of the news agency business taking place as a result of the rapid changes of media and other markets. EANA conferences etc should focus on how to help the member agencies to cope with these changes.
• Assisting member agencies requesting support to defend their position as independent news providers.
• Copyright, protection of content and access to newsworthy events.
