EANA: Security of journalists is a precondition of freedom of speech

EANA got notice that the Gaza office of our member agency Anadolu was damaged during the recent conflict in the region.

The BBC reports about Israeli air strikes answering a rocket assault by Palestinian militants. The Anadolu office was hit by one of those air strikes, the report says.

EANA regards the security of journalists as a precondition of freedom of speech. Therefore EANA asks for special attention to the life and health of journalists doing their job in the field.
